Mumbai – Delhi – Dharamshala

Mcleodganj – Nothing much to do here. Way too commercial for my liking.

Naddi – A cab from Mcleodganj will take take you to this beautiful small vilage. Do make sure you visit the sunset point. Totally worth it.

Dharamkot – Not too far away from Mcleodganj. Base Village for Triund Trek. It really quiet and peaceful unlike Mcleodgunj. Food at 'Trek n Dine' was simply delicious.

Trek to Triund – The most beautiful 1 day trek I've ever done. One can start trekking from Dharamkot or take a cab to Galluch temple (Don't know if I got the spelling right). We took a cab as it was a further 3 hour trek from the temple. Do make sure you reach before the sunset. The last few rays on the snow clad mountains will make you fall in love with the mountains forever. Tents up there are no good. You will be frozen at night. Book the Triund guest house, you will be much better off.

Upper Bhagsu – One simply has to go the Shiva cafe which is about 1 km from the Bhagsu falls. The location and the view from the cafe is nothing less then a dream.

Bir – 2nd highest spot in the world to do paragliding. We stayed at Colonels resort in Bir. It's the best resort I've stayed so far. You have dogs, horses and what not in his resort. There is more to Bir than just Paragliding and Colonels resort. Do make sure you spend an entire day in this small little town and vist the Choking and Deer park monastery. Colonel was kind enough to take us there. This town has so much of Tibetan culture, you are going to fall in love with it.

So here you go, hope you'll find this blog useful. Keep travelling. Cheers!
