As Usual , another weekend approaching and with the weekend also approaches the feeling of getting to the hills!
Quick plan made in the office and executed!
The "Girl gang" leaves for "Kasauli"
Kasauli is like another home honestly , beautiful drive , easy and quick to get to.
Hence ,this blog is Titled as " Kasauli is not Far"
Day 1
Early morning around 6 am , on a friday we leave on wheels for our dear mountains.
It usually takes 5.5 hours to get to Kasauli and there we were by around 12 pm we were at our destination.
Mode of Transport- Car
Duration of Travel- 5.5 to 6 hours
Stay - 7 Pines , Kasauli
This is how the first vision of the place was!
This getaway was purely to be at leisure!!
No Agenda at all!!!
This property was like a "home away from home"
very tastefully put together , amazing decor.
I was totally in love with the Decor.
Our room was called "Cedar Executive" which was big enough for the 3 of us with an extra bedding for the night.

After freshening up a bit we proceeded for our lunch, which was laid at a beautiful balcony facing the mountains , absolutely amazing!

Post lunch we just kept it easy for us , listed to some music and chilled out with some chilled beer!!

this is how our afternoon was spent mostly , singing , chilling and relaxing!!!

in a few hours , it started drizzling and we went out to experience the beauty of the mountains .
This property offered a beautiful little walk right above the resort , uphill -Simply beautiful.
After having a great walk into the woods , with fresh air and greenery all around us , the day came to an end with a beautiful sunset from our very own balcony!
Day-2
Another day in the lap of mother nature!
agenda for the day was a visit to main Kasauli which was barely a 15 mins drive and also we were to visit the famous "Sanawar Hostel"
which is also known as "The Lawrence school"
A we started driving the narrow roads of the town , it started poring like how!!
a beautiful drive along the rain in the mountains-totally mesmerizing.
We did stop and take some pictures getting drenched , enjoying the weather and the rain.

After taking a quick stroll at Kasauli main mall which was covered with fog , magical as ever , we made our way to the campus.
It was raining cats and dogs when we got there and unfortunately could not get out of the car and could not make it to the tour of the campus.
All we could manage was this one picture !
Overall it was just a drive in the rain with some beautiful captures which was totally worth it.
Getting back to our room we were offered some yummy "pakoras" with "chai" to enjoy the beautiful weather.
Rest of the day was again at leisure , relaxing , chilling and taking in the surroundings as much as we could.
We explored the resort this evening.
which was divided into two parts
Wing 1 and Wing 2
One is apparently the ancient one with smaller rooms an the other is a new one with bigger , spacious rooms.
Both wings offer great views of the mountains.
Great for Family and Friends getaways , beautiful areas to dine in , chill around and enjoy an ideal getaway to the mountains.
All you have to do is ,pack your bag and get here!
They offer packages for 2 or 3 days with all meals included.
food was absolutely a delight(each meal)
i would surely recommend this property as one of my favorites.
Day 3
We started post breakfast for Delhi on a Sunday.
Did some fruit shopping from the mountains on our way back and here we were back to our Hustle -Bustle City.
We love Road Trips!!
