It's always recommended to fly to Srinagar so as to see the beautiful glimpses of the Himalayas.
Kashmir is beautiful in both the seasons...in December when its covered with white blanket of snow and in April to June for the scenic greenery. Travelling in winters is cheaper than in summers.
