A First Timer's Guide to Kasol

Kasol is a small village in kullu stretched across the river Parvati. This little village is 42 km away from Bhuntar airport. There are many treks that you can start from this village like Kheerganga trek ,Pin Parvati pass or Chalal trek.

After taking Volvo from Delhi we reached Bhuntar early morning. Then to reach Kasol one can take Local bus which charges few bucks only. After reaching, one can easily hire tents which costs 300-500 per person.

Climate : March-July is the best time to visit Kasol as temperature is between 10-15 °C.

Duration of the trip: 1-2 days

Things to do in Kasol:

1. Hikes and Treks - One can easily take nearby treks starting from here such as Kheerganga , Pin Parvati treks.

2. Food : This village offers multiple cuisines like Israeli , Italian and Chinese. Some of most popular cafes that must be visited are :

•Shiva Shanti Cafe
•Stone Garden Cafe
•Evergreen Cafe

3. Rent a tent for overnight stay: Tents in Kasol offers gorgeous morning and evening views of the valley and river. Tents are quite comfortable and economical.

4. Local Market : One can shop local items in the market around Kasol.
