Kheerganga: A Trek Not To Miss.

I reached Kasol in the morning at around 7:30 where I had my breakfast and roamed around for an hour . My plan was to go trekking to Kheerganga so I took a bus to Barshaini and after having some food I started to trek around 10:30 am. Now if you want to go trekking to Kheerganga there are two treks , one through the jungle that you have to take after crossing the bridge and the second one diverges from the Barshaini-Tosh road a few meters from the bridge. I would suggest that you take the jungle route while going up and the second one while coming down , this way you will be able to explore the beautiful sights of both the treks. I reached the top at 3:30 pm where I saw a colony of camping sites up there but I went straight to the natural hot water spring and stayed inside it for an hour to relax myself. It felt so warm and relaxing after the exhausting five hour trek and the location of the pool is just amazing, for a while I thought if I don’t get a tent to stay I will spend the night in the pool , but around 5 pm it started raining so I came down and got myself a place with food and nightstay . In no time I was sitting with around ten other travelers from different parts of the world while they had their suttas I had rum with me so the evening started in a wonderful way like: raining outside the tent in a place up the mountains you’re in the company of people from around the world who had gathered at the same spot at the same time as you and as the evening approached night the rain gave way to the sessions of drinks for me and puffs for the others and interactions throughout where each shared his her experiences of whichever part they came from. The next morning I woke up and went to the pool again for around two hours then had my breakfast and started climbing down and reached Barshaini at around 3 pm from where I got the bus to Kasol. This was my first time to Kheerganga and I can say it’s amazing trek.
