These days i am trying to break out from the comfort zone and started exploring the unknowns. What impels me a lot are the Walls of Kolkatas Streets. I feel Every wall has its own story. On my way to sudder Street, I descried variaous Localities of kolkata, including Beliaghata and BB ganguli street. Beliaghata, It connects Eastern Metropolitan Bypass to Central Kolkata. A peculiarity of old Kolkata is that there are neighborhoods where there are many stores selling the same or similar products.
Then, moving forward went to New Market. New Market is a market in Kolkata situated on Lindsay Street.
New Market: If you are good at bargaining then new market is the place for you. Here you can find all the necessary items from smallest and cheapest to the biggest and the most expensive one. Frankly speaking, These are the places i could not relate to.
Road Queen Of Kolkata
I came across an interesting haunted story of New Market, don't know whether its true or not that people hear cries of “Save me, Save Me” and “Help Help”, believed to be the voices of three Anglo-Indian ladies who were assassinated.
In Midst of all, Found some Lonely eyes at New Market Area
I must say that I don't find going to these places alone. They may be vibrant, but i want to remain one step ahead. I always reconfirm from my local sources and get the idea of truth behind the narrow and dingy streets. I don't know but there is something about Kolkata that drives me to probe more and on the same side, I think twice before going somewhere.

I had a kicky experience in Hotel FairLawn. I liked the ambience of the place. This place has its own history. I took consent from its manager to tag them, cover them for my blog. I found the place distinct and vibrant mixed with antique look. I thank them for allowing me to cover it. History holds that The land on which it stands was first purchased by an European, Mr. William Ford in 1781. Mrs Violet Smith and her daughter Mrs J A Fowler are the Joint Managing directors of the Fairlawn. The stairs and sitting room are smothered with photos, family mementos and articles celebrating the hotel’s owner's.
In totality, I loved it and will love to go there again.
