So guys it was my first ever trip with my college friends. We were on strict budget to be honest we had 2k for 3 days Kolkata trip. Kolkata was my first time and i arrived at Howrah station around 10 pm and as per plan we decided to start off with Dakshineswar Temple(credit goes to google). So we took that yellow taxi and reached that area but we couldn't find a lodge.Eventually after little effort we found a lodge and the owner agreed to let 5 of stay in one room at 800rs but if we wanted ac to be turned on we'll have to pay 1200rs . We were tired so we agreed and took keys. That was my first hotel or lodge experience and was nothing less than a nightmare. That room seemed like a pub with fancy red and pink lights on ceiling and the blue bedsheet was stained with blood. We went down to call room service but no one was available . We were forced to put a towel on that stain and sleep on that dirty bed ( we were tired af) and about ac for which we paid 400rs more it wasn't even cooling just blower was on and it was summer so room became too humid to survive so we were forced to open window to get a comfy sleep. That room had small bathroom and loo attached and believe me it was worst experience in my life there wasn't even space to stand .I had to do yoga and gymnastics together just to get a shower while avoiding my leg being touched by comode.
It was the worst experience of my life we just flew away from that place the next morning like bird flew from its Cage . However, here irony is that we were only who paid 1200rs for that cage.
