It was hard for me to leave Singapore instantly. It seemed like yesterday we arrived in Singapore and now it was time to leave the city. Well that's the mood of travelling when you keep on hopping places one after the other. I would like to keep "Kuala Lumpur" in short as "KL" in the entire blogpost so please don't get confused what KL means.

We were to stay in KL for 2 days excluding the day of travel and leaving KL.

Reaching KL from Singapore

Reaching KL from Singapore is not a big deal. One can reach Kuala Lumpur from Singapore by air/road/rail. But we took the quickest and the coolest mode of transport to reach KL. I know you got it too, still mentioning it. Took the AirAsia flight (forgot the airline #) to KL. Took around 30-40 mins to safely land at KLIA. Took an Uber and headed towards the hotel. The airport is located outside the city premises and is a lot more greener than the city. A 40 mins run from the airport to reach the city is a safe journey.

Eat & Drink

There are several food joints and restaurants across the city specially in the Tengkat Tong Shin - Jalan Alor area. Plenty of Chinese , Bangladeshi and Indian restaurants. But specially for Indians I would suggest to opt for Tg's Nasi Kandar in Tengkat Tong Shin road. They have a brilliant taste of food, spicy and mouth watering drinks.

PS: Please be beware of pickpocket and don't drop your wallets at a random place. You might never find it back

Places to see

Petronas Tower

KLCC Tower

Suriya KLCC Mall

Batu Caves

Berjaya Times Square

Sri Mahamariamman Temple, KL

Merdaka Square

Aquaria KLCC

KL Bird Park

Sultan Abdul Samad Building

National Mosque of Malaysia

KL Butterfly Park

Unfortunately we missed the Batu caves which was in our itinerary plan and still we regret it. Although the above lot couldn't been covered in a span of just 2 days, we selected a few. But the thrill and adventure didn't fade away. Being on the 84th floor and seeing the whole city from the top is really breathtaking. Yes I was in the Petronas Towers and the sight is simply amazing. It reminded me of Baiyoke Sky Hotel when I along with my friends visited Bangkok, Thailand last year. Nonetheless the trip was awesome and sometime I may again visit the city and stay for a longer duration.
