Kuopio is a small town in eastern Finland region that is often popularly referred as Lakeland. In fact in Kuopio, you will reach a lake whichever direction you go. With very little population and about half of the Kuopio region being either forest or water, it probably resembles close to utopia. From tourism perspective, it offers array of activities for every season. Skiing or skating in winters or water sport in summer.
