At first, parents decided to check out few famous temples near by. So first we left for mata no madh ( Aashapura mata temple). It is in a remote place. You wont find a single person on road for like hours. There were some villages on the way with hardly 10 20 houses. Its so dry there i dont even understand what people do there for living. You will only find cement factories in that area. Seeing the conditions i thought there will be no road as we will move ahead. But have to say this Gujarat govt have done a great job by connecting those remote areas and by providing electricity to those houses. All of sudden we saw a big town out of nowhere and that was our destination for now. The temple is so beautiful and grand and they always serve lunch to the visitors and this tradition is going on for years now. I last visited this temple when i was 4 years old. My father was posted in this area and he organized this family trip at that time and now m back here with my in laws and husband. Tried hard to remember those old memories but all in vain..so we left for our next stop Koteshwar which is old shiv mandir near sea shore. They say every beach is different. This one was not beautiful but was full of mud. There were lots of fisherman’s boats. Frankly for me it was beautiful cz it was different. Enough temples now so we headed to pingleshwar. On our way to pingleshwar we saw so many windmills. Have never seen a windmill from this close. Bdw pingleshwar is a beach which u will not realise unless u cross one sand dune. Yeah no kidding the place is like desert and after crossing some sand dunes we stopped our car and as we came out we heard sound of water hitting on the beach. As we climbed the dune we saw water till horizon. It was a unique experience. Enjoyed the salt bath in open for a while.
