We started on 8 Aug 2015 from Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, as we were travelling with kids so thought of going by our own car. We started at 10 in the morning and reached Jaipur by 3.30 with a hour break in between for lunch. Checked into Four Points Sheraton, had shower and went for shopping in evening in Bapu Bazar. Point to mention here when you are shopping in Bapu bazar remeber to do bargaining, else you will be a loser. Then next day we planned a trip to Amber fort, jai Garh Fort, Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal. Enjoyed seeing the beauty and architecture of these places. Remember these places are open only till 5 in evening. So that after that you can enjoy your shopping if you are a shopping freak like me :P  Next day it was raining but still trip should go on, so enjoyed visit to City palace, Jantar Mantar as there are nearby only. Remeber in your trip plan to visit places which are nearby each other in one day as we did. Then we enjoyed shopping in Johari bazar for pearls, bangles, necklace, got gotta patti saree and suits. Gotta patti the famous hand work of Rajasthan. Then in evening we visited Chowki Dhani, a place not to be missed if you are in jaipur, we enjoyed dancing there with folk dancers, admiring the culture of Rajasthani village depicted over there. Also the traditional food which tasted awesome. Even the place where your kids will also enjoy as there are amny games for kids, camel ride, elephant ride. After having a memorable trip in Jaipur, we started back on fourth day in morning. Left at 10 but due to traffic and rain was stuck in between and took 11 hrs to reach back. But in short had an awesome trip to jaipur. It was mine long awaited trip finally happy.

Loved this place for its hospitality, service, ambience. Will stronlgy recommend this hotel for other visitors too. The staff is too co operative, even the housekeeping staff will respond to your call in midnight even as i had small daughter with me so wanted sugar packets or milk. Try to get hotel room left side of 5 floor like 5012 - 5007 , you will get swimming pool view from these rooms. Rooms are completely hygenic, well equipped with all the necessity things. Completely enjoyed my stay.
Have been to many forts, but seriously believe me there is something in this fort that attracts visitors, may be its architect which is fusion of hindu art, mughal art ,which you will be able to see only at this place. Really its blessingt o see the fusion art here.Sheesh Mahal adds to the beauty of the fort.We had pic cliked here wearing the traditional rajasthani pagdi, saved it for ym lifetime.
You may skip this place if not interested in seeing Arms, ammunition building center. But i will recommend to visit it once if you have time. It has many "Topps" from ancient time, prepared to be used for war.
These days they have closed Jal mahal, you can just have its view from some distance. Some local told me its closed, as there are many crocodiles in the river surrounding jal mahal. But still you can admire its beauty from distance, got some pics click. Also, can buy some craft stuff from there as reasonable cost.
Although you dont have much to see in Hawa Mahal, but still you can admire the architecture and have a view of jaipur city. Also can enjoy shopping in the nearby areas.
The place where you can also experience the lifestyle of royals, residning in one half of the palace, if you ready to shell soem more bucks. But still apart from it, you can enjoy the palace beauty, cana dmire the royal dresses, arms ,ammunitions, palkis, kept in display in palace.
The best place to visit in jaipur. The place where you can have the feel of Rajasthani culture, art and craft, folk dance and obviously the food. The haldighati, games, magical show, other shows, folk dance, camel ,elephant ride, bajra ke roti , and the traditional food of Rajasthan. A place not to be missed if you are in Jaipur. Although its ticket is on higher side but its worth :)
For shopping lovers this place a must to visit , but remember you need to have great bargaining skills. Also you can buy rajsathani bedsheets, suits, arts and crafts. I will not recomment buying artificial jewellery like kundan necklace and all from here as johari bazar is good for it.
Best shopping place for buying bancles, necklaces in various designs, also some heavy sarees.
