Last Weekend of the Year @ Goa - Carvaan Banta Gaya...

Tripoto

We started from Vashi on 23rd December 2015, at around 7pm. We were around 6 of us. Carvaan begins in the Maruti Suzuki Ecco van. Best part was our friend-cum-driver "Sanjal" He can drive in any condition. Does his best to reach us on or before Time by navigating his google maps app on his phone. He is expert is chosing shortest, smoothest and fastest road route.

By 3am we had reached Kolhapur, we had thought of reaching little late here. So we went ahead towards our destination "Goa". By 7 am we were in Goa, we had booked our stay in Arambol, its a beach locality, this place's speciality is that it is first beach when we cross Maharashtra border and enter Goa state. This beach is famous for its narrow market lane, with guest houses, food outlets, German Bakery, and this beach is also very much visited by Foreginers. There are lots of reasons for it. One reason is Sweet Lake.

We checked in to our guest house, got freshened up, had rest for sometime, then left for swim at sweet lake and sea. We had planned to visit Churches on 24th December in Goa as it was Christmas and during this time, Goa looks beautiful. Then back to our beach, had food, then rested for the day.

Next day 25th Dec, we had planned to visit Chapora Fort, Vagator Beach, Calangute, Baga and other places. Had lots of food, fun and party at night.

On 26th Dec was time to visit City side i.e. Panjim, another fort which is Aguada Fort, Sequirim Beach, Dona Paula, Panjim City and back to our Home beach Arambol. I said Home because in 2 days Arambol had become our Home Sweet Home when we used to visit other places and come back here.

27th dec was the time to go back to our daily routine life. We left early in morning, crossed border reached Sawantwadi had breakfast - Misal Pav and Chai, again started our journey. This time we crossed Karnataka Border as well via Mumbai - Belgaon highway. This route was more beautiful and faster. Little traffic at Yashvantrao Chavan Expressway. And we were in Mumbai.

Every journey of life teaches us something. And even makes us more Experienced and Mature in Life...

Awesome beach with many options of water sports. Good Food and people.
Fantabulous place, everything near by beach. Good Food, stay and big market for shopping. Many Shacks here for chill out.
