It was just like yesterday, when I took a 2 days off to reach Nainital... But this time, Nainital wasn't my choice to spend the two days...

I took a shared cab to Bhowali and another to Bhimtal where I rested at #Basera guest house. The guest house is not there any more... The owner of the guest house took me with him for a trip to Naukuchiatal and Sattal... The lone walk between the woods and the mesmerizing climate and environment rejuvenates you and gives you the power to walk and work even more...

In the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, there are 7 lakes that are known to the people there. The 7 lakes are Nainital, Bhimtal, Khurpatal, Naukuchiatal, Malwatal, Harishtal and Lokhamtal... These 7 fresh water lakes combine to be called as the 7 lake sisters of the Kumaon region.

It is true that Nainital is known to be the tourist capital of Uttarakhand. With the most number of tourists visiting there every year. But this is again a fact that the other lake sisters have kind of lost there identity. Most of the tourists visit Nainital and they don't even know about the other lakes. And because of the absence of crowd at these other lakes... These places are exceptionally serene, calm and as I said... Rejuvenating...
