One of the best hill stations I've ever visited. I started from Bangalore by bus and going through the Jungles was so amazing experience (though, couldn't see any wild animal except deer). Ooty is famous for its home-made chocolates and tea gardens. Being a coffee lover, I wasn't much excited about tea factory, but my friend insisted me and when I tasted the tea there (you can get as much as you want for free), I was like ye toh ghar ki chai h. The fresh & amazing blend of chaipatti makes it so tasty. And you even get to taste a spoon of hot chocolate at the same place. But, the sad part is every tourist place closes by 6:00 PM. The only thing to do in the evening is shopping. I ate chicken momos in the streets of charing cross market, and I would say it's a must try.
Reached there at arkund 1pm, booked a hotel, got freshen up, went to the boar house, amazing view and then ate some street food there. Visited Charing cross market in the evening and then next day morning, went straight to the tiger hill where we enjoyed some amazing morning scenery and then went to tea garden (factory is just behind the garden). Spent some time there and then went back to the hotel.
