Luang Prabang's Traditional Alms Giving Ceremony

Tripoto

Just like with everything else, Laos is certainly one of the last few places in the world that have still managed to preserve its traditional, authentic Buddhist appeal.

Here, Buddhist monks won't appear clicking selfies in their iPhone, but walking across the street every morning to perform the daily ritual of TAK BAT (asking for alms, which, later in the day, will be their only all food). Never seen anything like this in my life... Hundreds of monks walking the streets of Luang Prabang, everyday, seeking alms!
