Who doesn't want to travel to a heavenly place called Maldives these days? Maldives is a fantastic vacation from India, with its gorgeous beaches and unending shoreline.

Maldives is an archipelagic country that has been increasingly popular in recent years, particularly among honeymooning couples.

These photographs do not do the place justice:

About Maldives Trip:

Because it's a visa-on-arrival situation, all you have to do now is purchase your flight tickets. The next step will be picking which resort to stay in, which will be one of the most difficult decision because they're all on beautiful islands.

Typically, 2N Beach Villa and 2N Water Villa can be booked together to save money and enjoy both stays. You can also book 2N Water Villa and 1N Water Villa with Pool.

Day 1

We chose Taj Exotica Resort & Spa primarily because the resort is only 15 minutes away by boat.

Airport transfer: The boat transfer was on time from start to finish of our trip.

Water Villa: Our stay at the resort was fantastic; the staff was friendly and accommodating. The private butler is available at all times and is only a phone call away. The villas would be cleaned several times during the day. The water villa experience is fantastic and leaves you with unforgettable memories.

Food: wide range of cuisines with great taste. Great food options especially for vegetarians.

There's no need to make particular plans for each day. Swim, snorkel, scuba dive, dine, relax, read, and repeat!

What should I bring?

Medicines, undoubtedly, and sunscreen (of course!) with a collection of beachwear

What should you be aware of?

1. Drinking water is chargeable everywhere including restaurants, please be aware of this

2. It's advisable to take full board/all inclusive only if you plan to drink frequently. 3 beers cost about $30 plus taxes.

3. Please book inclusive airport transportation; else, they will be extremely costly.

4. If you plan a seaplane transfer, please note that it operates only between 6:00hrs to 15:30hrs and is affected by bad weather.

Seaplanes travel between Male Airport to the resorts in South and North Atoll of Maldives.

On Tripadvisor, I found that there have been few occasions where luggage arrived after being transferred.

Though expensive ($270 to $450 per person), they do offer an amazing perspective of view on the atolls, islands, reefs and lagoons.
