Away from Ranikhet City, you drive towards the Jhula Devi Temple. From there you take the Ram Mandir Road, where you enter an unexplored area. A cluster of small villages. Finally you reach village Pakhura, on the main road is the famous Apple Orchard the best Garden of the District. A mixed fruit Orchard nurtured by a retired Army Officer. From there you have to trek for 500 mts to reach the Mahadeva Home Stay. A typical Kumaoni House, surrounded by beautiful fruit trees, friendly villagers, near it is a naula natural spring water source. Welcoming environment. Lots of entertainment, and great food. Best place to just laze around, good places to go for walks. You can spot leopards.

A typical Pahadi or hills village home made of wood and mud flooring. But the beautiful view of the Himalayan Peaks like Trishul etc is magnificent. Experience the village laid back, peaceful life. Taste the yummy Kumaoni food, or the very tasty pasta etc. The chai is awesome!
