Mainz: the historic reminiscent

Tripoto
Mainz is a quaint little town near Frankfurt, located at the confluence of the Rhine and Main rivers. It was founded somewhere in 13-12 BC and the city still carries that historic charm. Mainz is famous as the home of Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the movable-type printing press, who in the early 1450s manufactured his first books in the city, including the Gutenberg Bible. If you are up for a day trip from Frankfurt, this is one of the must places to visit; best time as usual will be Summer.
