Amazing Dubai Skyline

It is no secret that Dubai tourism is synonymous with shopping. My main purpose of taking up a Dubai tour package was to go on a shopping spree! People from all over the world flock to Dubai in order to shop for duty-free goods. Of all the amazing things to do in Dubai, shopping probably tops the list for most of the tourists. Aptly called as the shoppers’ paradise, Dubai has some of the largest malls in the world. The malls are so gigantic and magnificent, they are architectural marvels in itself. Here’s the list of malls I visited in Dubai on my shopping spree.

Dubai Mall

The Dubai mall is one of the largest malls in the world. It was so huge that it seemed like a miniature city to me! I spent an entire day, just exploring the different parts of the mall. I fell in love with the mall’s retail space which houses high fashion brands such as Ralph Lauren, Alexander Mcqueen, Gucci, Chanel, Valentino and thousand other retailers. The most fascinating aspect of the mall is the Dubai Aquarium. You can experience the deep sea, right at the heart of the city! Strolling along the 270-degree walk-through tunnel surrounded by colorful fishes was a magical experience for me.

Mall of Emirates

The Mall of Emirates is my personal favorite. It is also the world’s first mall resort as it houses an indoor ski resort known as Ski Dubai. The Mall houses 630 fashion brands which are located at the Mall’s Fashion Dome. My favorite brands at Mall of Emirates were Forever 21, DKNY and Kate Spade New York. Once I was worn out from my shopping exploration, I went to the Ski resort for a fun session of snowboarding and enjoyed playing with the penguins. Yes, that’s right! Dubai has penguins too! Is there anything that this city doesn’t have?

Ibn Battuta Mall

Ibn Battuta is renowned for being the world’s largest themed mall. It is named after the famous Arabian explorer Ibn Battuta. I particularly enjoyed exploring the themed sections of the mall which are designed according to the regions that Battuta explored. This beautifully themed mall houses 275 shops, 21 cinema halls, and around 50 restaurants. Some of my favourite brands at the mall were Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Sharaf DG, and Geant.

While shopping at these malls is an absolute pleasure, make sure to wear the most comfortable pair of shoes you own. Because my feet were hurting badly from exploring these enormous malls.
