Started travelling from Delhi to Manali via Ram Dalal Volvo. Got bus around 7PM from Majnu Tila and departed for Manali around 7.30. Bus was neat and clean. Due to traffic on Karnal bypass bus wal able to reach Panipat around 11PM. Bus stopped at Pearl Dhaba near Gharaunda which was worst dinner of my life. Prices of food was very high and it was tasteless.
Reached Chandigarh around 1.40 AM
Reached Manali around 9.30 AM. Travelling was fine and I along with two of my friends, are feeling great. Light rain welcomes us in Manali and weather was just awesome.
Check-in at Hotel room and after getting fresh left for Old Manali after brunch at a small restaurant. Had aloo pratha with Dahi and tea later.
Visited old manali and enjoyed walking moment with my close friends. Visited Manu Ji temple, Hadimba Mata temple, Monestry and few more places in Manali itself. We walked 23 KM of total which helped us in getting a great sleep.
On Evening we had another bad experience of dinner at Panghi Punjabi Dhaba near mall road. Please avoid this. Enjoyed Hot kadahi milk and Moong dal halwa on mall road after dinner.
Get up around 7 Am and today we are visiting Solang Valley.
Had breakfast at this small shop named as "New Himalayan Fast Food Corner" near mall road. I have covered our visit to this place on our youtube channel "The Mango Couple" as well. Try this place if you want to have quick as well tasty food.
Private Taxies are asking for 700 to 1000 Rs for soling valley from Manali but we chose public transport as there are 4 Buses available for Solang valley from Bus stand. It's a 30 minute journey from Manali bus stand.
After reaching Solang, we decided to track till Shiv temple and not chose Horse or Quad bike for which they are asking 600rps per person. As quad bike can accommodate 2 person at a time so they asked for 1000 for round trip.
As last bus from Solang for Manali was at 5PM so we have ample time to enjoyed mother nature here. So, again we decided to track by our own. Within 1 n half hour we were at temple uphill and not tired at all. Got to know that after some more tracking we will be able to enjoy snow so decided to track some more.
Finally after 30 to 40 minutes we were able to get area covered by snow in month of November.
On evening reached back to Manali around 6PM and left for Volvo Bus parking at 7.30 after dinner.
Chose Cortland travels for our return journey which was gone great.
