DAY 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (ABOUT 110 KMS / 02-03 HRS)

Day 1

Arrive Guwahati drive straight to Shillong, While traveling we see the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani) surrounded by sylvan hills and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines and the azure blue skies check in hotel. Afternoon visit to the St. Catholic Cathedral, Golf Course & followed by a visit to the Mall road. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02: SHILLONG-JOWAI-SHILLONG (ABOUT 65 KMS -03 HRS):

Day 2

After breakfast drive to Jowai 64 kms. from Shillong is the administrative headquarters of Jaintia Hills as well as the commercial centre. Arrive Jowai,check in hotel visit Nartiang Monoliths biggest collection of monoliths or Megalithic stones in one single area is to be found north of the Nartiang market, Durga Temple at Nartiang, Thadlaskein Lake, Stone Bridge at Thlumuwi etc.

DAY 03: SHILLONG LOCAL:

Day 3

After breakfast today we will visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak - to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong later visit Don Bosco Monument, Ward’s Lake where you can enjoy boating, Botanical Garden and Lady Hydri Park. Evening you is free for your personal activities. Overnight stay at Shillong.

DAY 04: SHILLONG- MAWLYNNONG- DAWKI (ABOUT 90 KMS /3-4 HRS.)

Day 4

Morning after breakfast drive to Mawllilong-cleanest village in Asia.. Later proceed to Mawllilong, enroute visit balancing rock. Arrive Mawllilong and transfer to your village home stay. Afternoon visit Single decker living root bridge inside the jungle, later visit and enjoy the locally made watch tower, made up of bamboos. This watch tower gives you 360 degree view of the surrounding area. Later visit Dawki enjoy water activities at Umgot river and back to Mawllilong, O/n Home stay at Mawllilong.

DAY 05: MAWLYNNONG- CHERRAPUNJEE (ABOUT 80 KMS 02-03 HRS):

Day 5

Morning after breakfast drive to Cherapunjee visit Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai waterfalls, Eco-Park, Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah, Seven sisters water fall (one of the longest in India). Later transfer to your hotel/resort for overnight stay. Evening is free for your own.

DAY 06: CHERRAPUNJEE- GUWAHATI (ABOUT 165 KMS 05 HRS)

Day 6

After breakfast drive to Guwahati and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon/Evening visit to the Kamakhya Temple, on Nilachal hill, 08 kms west of Guwahati city, is one of the most venerated shaktipeeths in India. The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya an incarnation of Sati. It is on Nilachal hill, says the Shiva Purana, that the yoni or creative organ of Sati fell when Vishnu, in a bid to save the world from the Shiva’s tandava nrittya or dance of destruction, cut her dead body into 51 pieces with his suddarshan chakra. The garbhagriha deep inside the temple, marks the sacred spot and is kept covered with red silken cloth. O/n hotel

DAY 07: GUWAHATI AIRPORT DROP:

Day 7

After breakfast drive back to LGBI airport, Guwahati to catch your flight to onward destination.
