8 day trip to Bali was one of the most memorable trips I have ever had. Fact that we planned the entire trip on our own without the help of any travel agency made it all the more special. It helped us getting connected with travel communities. Itinerary was planned as per suggestions received from travellers round the world. I must say this trip was worth all the effort.

Bali is an amazing island that has something for everyone.Right from pristine beaches to happening streets.Amazing restaurants & pubs to a variety of shopping options. Water sports, sightseeing, beautiful temples to best spa's centres. Bali has it all!

Serenity, tranquility, fun, adventure and peace all at one place. That's Bali for you!

We stayed at Seminyak Square, a happening place full of shops ,restaurants and lively music. Seminyak beach was at walking distance from our hotel. However, one can hire a 2 wheeler easily, provided you have an international license.

People in Bali are polite and very friendly. They love to watch Indian serials. It was amazing to see people watching Mahabharata with great interest. It indeed makes you feel at home away from home !

Few tips for the travellers –

– Bali has got a lot more to offer. 8 days were also not enough to explore all the places. Plan your itinerary keeping your interests in mind.

– The currency in Bali, when converted to other currencies comes in millions. All the conversions just freak you out.

– Vegetarians may find limited options, but there are some nice exclusive vegetarian restaurants.

Happy travelling!
