The most enchanting & tough destination in India. Yes, as we all know, thr is a hype abt ths plc & its own set of expectaions but finally we all with our li'l munchkins made it to leh/ladakh & were quite brave enuf to mk it an experience of the lifetime. There's everything so b'ful thr- diverse landsacpes,snow-clad,ruggd, barren & colorful mountains,unbelivable desert at Hunder,scenic waterways, Buddhist monastries(many of thm existd fr mr thn 100yrs). Thr's sumthing so mystic abt ths plc specially with its lineage of Buddhish, where u get a feeling of surrending yrslf to God.Its alwys so serene & peaceful. The first day usually goes into acclimatization & if u really wanna realise the importance of oxygen in yr life, thn u wl hv to visit this plc. Those 8days wr certainly suthing we'd cherish fr life. Its a photographr paradise, u'l nvr get satiated clicking till u finaly exit the place- endless beauty al arnd u... The Pangong-Tso is d best out of al, the first glimpse left us mesmerised, the beauty stunned us, d amazing diffrnt colors of d river, flow of water, just magical, the pristine blue water & a panoramic vista in front of r eyes. Magnetic hill or gravity hill was mysterious indeed. Confluence of Indus & Zanskar was absolutely breathtaking. Hunder & Diskit r d two anthr main towns of d valley on d shyok river. The sand dunes r sumthing really special to see up thr at 10000ft. The rare double humped camels on the dunes were a treat to watch. Landscapes along the Turtuk, a remote village inhabited by Muslims, few kms away LOC b/w India & Pakistan was a bful sight agn & the sky was nva so blue. There's no other better plc to visit in summer..
