Day 2

As we planned, day 2 was reserved for Cherrapunji.Cab was already booked,it usually takes 4000rs/day for a big car .We started late so we had to skip elephant falls. If you want to visit it,you must start early else no worries, you can visit it on your way back.We reached Tyrna at around 12:30pm.We booked a homestay(Jyngkyrkhu homestay),it is available for Rs300 per head excluding food. After keeping our luggages in the home stay,we started our trek for double decker Living root bridge. It is 3km trek which includes almost 4000steps.I'd suggest you to start early as it usually takes 7-8hrs.On the way you will see beautiful khasi hills rainforest, several waterfalls and yeah,Blue waters. You can visit long root bridge on the way,but its almost worn out and is supported with steel wires, you can skip it.Just a few meters before the bridges we had heavenly glimpse of nohkalikai waterfalls. We reached living root bridges by 3:30pm.You can dive in the crystal clear waters under the living root bridge. We stayed for a while, had our lunch(maggie and redbull) there and then headed back for tyrna. The return journey is way more tiring so keep water bottles and redbull handy. As i mentioned earlier,we started late so Darkness was closing in on us after 6pm.It was frightening for a moment,as we were inside a rainforest with clouds rushing to have a shower, and its getting dark. But to our surprise it was blessing in disguise,We saw a swamp of fireflies roaming around us.It was magical,Serendipitious. But hey, dont stay inside the forest just to have a glimpse of fireflies. We reached tyrna at 8pm,we washed up,then had our dinner.Try the locally made chicken cuisine. The owner was so helpful, courteous and well behaved. He made the food for us.It usually varies from 130 for veg and 160 for non veg.We stayed the night, listening to cherrapunji rainfall. We kept the cab with us.

Day 3

After eating our breakfast at the homestay,We left tyrna at around 10am,went straight to the Seven sister water falls. Then we headed to Mawsmai caves. After visiting Mawsmai caves,We went to the local stores to purchase local stuffs. Then we had our lunch at Sohra. Then we started for Nohkalikai waterfalls. After staying there for a while,we left for dawki. We reached Dawki at around 5:15pm,then we left for Shnongpdeng. We booked our riverside camps at Shnongpdeng. You can book it on travenjo. It usually costs rs 400/head.We had our bonfire there. After having dinner,we went inside our camps and rain started to pour

It is one of the famous waterfalls, near Mawmluh. You can dive into infinity of the moment. The falls are called seven sister because the water falls in seven steps. It is also nearby mawsmai caves.A must place to visit.

Its a great picturesque waterfall amidst the lush green rainforests. The path leading to it feels like scotland highlands.

A great destination to have riverside camping. On a clear night, its perfect place for stargazers.Situated on the banks of river dawki, wah umngot, amidts the west jaintia hills, its also a adventure sports destination.

Day 4

At around 4am,we shifted our camps to high ground,as the river water started to rise.It was raining profusely. So we couldnt have any of the adventure sports like cliff jumping, kayaking, zip lining, boating as the river was flooded and water wasnt clean. So we headed for Mawlynnong.Mawlynnong is Asia's cleanest village. It took rs 1500 per alto to ferry us from Shnongpdeng to Mawlynnong. It usually takes an hour to reach there. We were lucky enough to get the bamboo hut to crash in.The place is I La Jong residency. It took rs 2500 for 7 people. You will find food joints at the parking lot and in the village as well.Make sure you visit the tree house, you will get a view of Bangladesh.Take a stroll around the cleanest village in Asia, amidst the clouds.

Day 5

We left the Mawlynnong at 9am in the morning and had our breakfast en route to shillong.Cabs like Sumo usually takes 3k-3.5k to shillong. We reached Anjalee cinema hall at around 12:30pm.There we booked our Cab to Guwahati.Make sure you take great photographs along the way from shillong to burnihat. We reached Guwahati at around 4:00pm,checked in our hotel in Paltan Bazar.Ac rooms are available for 1000rs there. Then we went wandering around the city.Visit the restrobar Piazza to have an amazing evening.

Its a great place to hangout. The service and hospitality is main attraction.Drink some beers or tequilla shots to spend the evening with friends.

Day 6

We had our flight at 1:20pm.So we left our hotel in guwhati by 11pm.Uber and ola are abundantly available takes usually 400-500rs for airport,if you are staying near paltan bazar.Reached Bhubaneswar at 2:40pm,and our trip ended.Trip overall cost was 16k/head.
