Sahyadri is a treasure of beautiful scenery, rivers, forest, waterfall, mountains which covered with full of tree's & much more. Still sahyadri contains multiple locations which are still unkown for us.

Today we can explore one of the virgin places with crystal clear water. Its confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of Kundalika river. This place is known as Devkund waterfall.

Devkund waterfall located near Bhira dam. Its about 2 hours trek from base village Bhira in Raigad district, which is around 100km from Pune, along the Bhira dam backwater and through forest to reach this beautiful place.

You can start the trek from Bhira village, which having a beautiful route to reach there. A major part of the trek goes through some semi-dried forests with the river running parallel and sometimes crisscrossing through the route. It is around 6.5k one sided walking. This trek is best for monsoon season as the atmosphere here gets pleasant and lovely.

Route is very beautiful, in which you can see green mountains, small Brooks, bridge which are build by local people, small waterfalls, Kundalika river and much more. You will definitely enjoy this trek.
