Last week, I flew to Italy with a couple of friends for the first time! I was so excited to try all the gelatos, pizzas and pastas my friends have been raving about!

Flew with British Airways to Milan, which takes about 2 hours from London. Upon arrival, we took a cab to our accommodation and off we went hunting for food! We were famished!

If you intend to visit Milan, I think 2days will be good as there wasn't much in Milan itself. We were suppose to head to Lake Como but the trains were on strike. We got really unlucky ! A little travel reminder: While taking trains in Italy, it is also important to VALIDATE your ticket. We got fined because we didn't know that we are suppose to validate our ticket!
First meal, we dined in at Mozzarella e Basilico, a stone throw away from Duomo! I conclude that they have the best pizzas! The cheese on the pizza is spot on! Usually the pizza that we eat are just grated cheese topped on. Here it is different!! I saw the pizza chef actually chopped big round mozzarella cheese balls and top on the pizza! Delizioso!

Next, I had the best gelato on earth! The winner goes to.. CioccolatItaliani! I can't believe I queued for almost an hour for a cone! The unique part is that you get to choose what chocolate fudge you would like to have in your cone! There is white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate fudge! There are so many flavours to choose from! I chose Pistachio and Yogurt! There are pistachio bits in the gelato. It is not too bad for 3euros! I LOVE IT!

one of the tourist attraction in Milan. It is located beside Duomo, you won't miss it! The beauty of this building is the architecture. Just look inside! There are shops and some cafes as well.

In Milan, you have to try fried luni! At first I was skeptical and wonder how good it is! Many on the streets have luini in their hands! Yes, the piping hot fried luini! You can't miss! It is around 2euros + for one luini! The tomato with mozzarella is definitely the winner!
