Two months and back to back visit to Kodaikanal is how this experience starts. The beautiful mountains, cozy weather and good drive from Bangalore sums up this trip for me.
We started from Bangalore at midnight and reached Kodai the next day early afternoon.
First Trip: The plan was very simple to just stay in all the time and relax. We stayed at Zac's Valley Resort, the resort is beautifully located in the middle of the mountain and bad roads make it little difficult to find but once we reached there we were out of complaints. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the cottages are very spacious.
Second Trip : This trip turned out to be more crazier. Long weekend and no hotel booking. It is little difficult to find good places if it's long weekend and if you have not pre booked, but we were just lucky so first day we stayed at tapovan resort beautiful cottages but small rooms good for two people not more than that.
Second day we stayed at the pearl county. The location was beautiful and we had to live in the tents at night it was super scary but every bit of it was worth it. If you like sleeping in the middle of the jungle and like to hear animals rubbing against your tent and scary noises at night this place is good a perfect jungle experience.
The food in Kodaikanal is always good at least 2 times of my visit I never faced issues with food. Simple home made South Indian style food ✌️
