An amazing new 24-hour floating hotel, AB Celestial, opened in Mumbai last week and is taking the city's travel scene to the next level.
If you're curious what AB means, it stands for Aishwarya Bhende, the 21-year old owner of the vessel, who sees this 3-floor luxury dining yatch as her dream project. She is also responsible for the breathtaking interiors of the floatel, which she has designed with meticulous attention to detail.
The floatel boasts of two multi-cuisine restaurants, a club lounge and a 24-hour coffee shop. It also has a sky deck that offers absolutely stunning views of the city.
The luxury floating hotel was inaugurated by Maharashtra's chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on March 10. The floatel is being touted as a major attraction for foreign tourists looking for new experiences while visiting the city.
AB Celestial is imported from the US and has a maximum capacity of 660 guests across its three tiers. Mumbaikars can get a glimpse of this marvel docked at the Maharashtra Maritime Board's jetty at Bandra under the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, 500 meters before the toll plaza.
