Attending “Oktober fest” is pretty much a part of any travellers’ bucket list considering Munich at its best with beer and more beer. Bavaria celebrates the little sister of Oktober fest locally known as “Kleine Schwester des Oktoberfestes” during the spring time, the grandeur and scale is small. Nevertheless, for a first timer like me it was enough to soak in the revelry.

While planning for a short weekend trip to Munich around April end I was unaware of the spring fest but gave up my pre-planned visit to Dachau a miss instead spend almost whole day at the beer tent. I had to put this on my blog, so that travellers can experience “oktober fest” if they are too scared to handle the full scale carnival during September.
