Met the Royal Bengal Tiger in his own Territory.
We were in Raipur.Our final year exam has just ended ! And to make it memorable we decided to go for a Road Trip. Likewise every student the trip had to be very budget friendly. After so much of analysis and calculations we decided to do a Road trip.
Which will start from Korba ( Prashant's home town ) in Prashant's car. The Idea was to drive to Bandhavgarh (350kms) from korba starting very early on the first day. So we booked a wonderful yet affordable Moogli Resort at Bandhavgarh for one night. Having no definite Idea about what we will do from the 2nd night onwords.
We did the journey across the beautiful roads and wonderful jungles of Chhattisgarh and MP ...we started, we navigated, we got lost, we rediscovered our paths, we laughed , we lived and we Reached our destination for the day (i.e the Mowgli resort)
Soon after the check in, We jumped into the pool. Later that evening we booked our tickets for next mornings Safari.
Early in the morning we got into our safari canter. We were very excited, hoping to see the 🐅, as we entered the jungle it appeared so beautiful and surreal , with the pleasent sunrise, the deers around the pond and the lush green forest. It felt like if we were traveling inside of a picture.
The safari was going good as we spoted wonderful places and creatures, but still we haven't spoted any Tiger. Our return safari has already begun . And had almost lost the hope of tiger sightseeing, when we had our luck and spotted the Majestic Bengal Tiger. He walked out of the Bushes and went towards the stream, he them sat down near the stream, and quietly watched us watching him.
It's a true saying that. During the safari at Bandhavgarh if you don't spot a Tiger , then u must have been sleeping throughout the safari.

We were four friends and shared all the expenses equally, the per head cost of activities are listed below.
Fuel(one side journey) - Rs 600
Resort ( a big Ac family room with 2 double beds ) - Rs 700 per person per night.
Safari ( 6am - 11am ) - Rs 550 per seat.
Food and miscellaneous - Rs 700
