The bus in Delhi started from Majnu Ka Tila ( Potala Grounds). I was already very excited about my first solo trip ever. I used Redbus to book the tickets and it was a decent VOLVO waiting for me.
I reached Mclodganj early morning and had some time to freshen up before the ultimate trek to Triund.
The trek is roughly 8-9 KM with a paved path. Its a beginner level trek which is lined up with scenic hills with fog coming right at you.
About 3 hours later, we were at the top of the hill called Triund.
The view changes from that place every second because of the movement of the fog.
The night sky shows you the entire milky way galaxy at a clear view. And the Dharamshala valley below gives an exact reflection of those stars with its lights beaming right through the night.
The third day began with a trek downhill back to Mclodganj with our backpacks.
I rented a scooty from the local market to go about visting a few spots in and around Mclodganj.
Driving in the hills on a scooty was one of the most liberating experiences ever.
About 3 hours later, we were at the top of the hill called Triund.
