My voyage to the Madame Tussauds Museum - Vivek Banka

Tripoto

I was one of the most excited Indian awaiting the launch of the Madame Tussauds Museum to be housed in the Regal building in Delhi. The door was opened to the public on December 1 and I visited it on the very first day of 2018. Trust me! The Experience was awestruck one as the place is so beautifully décor with state of the art infrastructure and of course with the wax statues of national as well as an international iconic figure like that of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. The palace also contains wax statues of renowned names like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Leonardo Di Caprio, Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Asha Bhosle, Kapil Dev, Mary Kom and Tom Cruise.

The 1st and the 2nd floor of the museum have around 50 displays made by the international artists. The very first portrait I got stuck was of Flying Sikh or our legendary athlete Milkha Singh. The best thing about the statue is that the pose is taken from his victorious win at the 1958 Commonwealth Games.

As I moved on to the palace, there were statues of Stalwarts of the freedom movement including Subhash Chandra Bose and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Well, this is a perfect way to bid respect to these real heroes. Next was the Anarkali from the classic film Mughal-E- Azam, the beautiful Madhubala. The statue doesn't look like a statue, I felt like it was she standing in front of me in her gorgeous costume. Madam Tussaud's museum would have been incomplete without Big B but luckily as expected, the museum has a wax figure of Amitabh Bachchan as well.

As I am a sports lover, I was looking forward to some sports icons and then I had a glimpse of Wax figure of football star Messi and cricket legend Kapil Dev. They are crafted in such a fine manner that I do cherish the moments till now as I got some good selfies with them.

Next, the museum has The Legendary singer's wax-statue displayed in the Bollywood music zone in an interactive themed environment. In the singing section, there were statues of other figures as well as that of Tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain and Sonu Nigam. For all the Girls out there, there is another status in the same segment as that of cute Ranbir Kapoor that looks real to look at. The smiling face of Ranbir did catch my 5-10 minutes of glance.

Apart from these, there are more to it. Also, there are different genres for every age group offering visitors a synthesis of rich Indian culture with an international appeal. Other statues include Kim Kardashian & Will Smith, the famous pop singer Lady Gaga, Shahrukh, and Kareena etc. So get ready to see, touch and click the Photographs with your favorites of various genres like Bollywood, Hollywood, Music, and Leaders etc. If you are looking forward to visiting and explore this museum, well let me tell you guys, you must go for pre-booking offers for tickets online. Another best thing about the museum is that they let the visitors enjoy every second peacefully and freely, therefore only 450 people per hour are allowed to enter the palace. So relax and spend quality time with wax statues of your favorite icons.

I truly had a Fantastic experience and hope you will also have an incredible experience with these lifelike wax figures.
