Vagamon is a hill station in Ernakulam district of Kerala.
It was our 2nd destination after Thekkady on our Kerala tour. Vagamon is 3 hours drive from Kochi and 2 hours from Thekkady.
You can cover Vagamon on a day visit or can choose to stay as it gives the immense natural beauty and peace.
We covered it on our way from Thekkady to Kochi.

Barren Hills, also known as Vagamon Meadows : I cannot put the beauty of this place in words. Let pictures do the talking.
Vagamon Tea Lake : The painting which we used to make as a child when asked to draw a landscape, that is it. A hill, a lake, a boat and a wooden bridge. It has it all. Have a look.
Pattumalai Church : Covered with tea plantations on hills, it is a treat to the eyes.
It's less popularity among the tourists makes it retain it's natural beauty.
