Nature gives a gift to Assam... MAJULI :The largest River Island in the World

As early as possible I reached at Guwahati because I had a plan to visit Kamakhya Temple. So I booked a Uber from Guwahati airport to Kamakhya Temple. After that I went to kaziranga by bus on that day. I booked a bus from Guwahati paltan bazaar to kaziranga (kohora). Kohora is the main zone of kaziranga National Park. Anyway, I booked the bus through Goibibo & got 20% discount on seat booking.

This National park is femous for one horned Rhino. I didn't do safari there because Kaziranga is very non happening & disappointing national park for me. I was go there before... anyways... it can be visited for once atlist. Safari tickets are booked from any hotel at kaziranga or if you stay at Kohora zone than there is a tickets counter also. Even spot booking also available. I think an only national park in India which is very eassy to get gypsy safari's tickets. There is an another attraction that is Orchid garden which is the most happening place in kaziranga I think. And there is an another attraction also those are Kakochang falls & Kaipholangso Falls. But these both falls are completely trekking route & need a day to enjoy the amazing experience. But I didn't go there because I can't manage the time.

After local sightseen in Kaziranga I went to jorhat because I had a plan to go Majuli on that day. Jorhat is well connected with bus from kaziranga. So you can take bus from kaziranga for Jorhat. Then have to go Nimatighat ferry by Auto. By ferry have to go Kamalabari & reached Majuli. (Ferry tickets booking on spot). Last ferry from Nimatighat to Kamalabari is at 3:30pm as per daily schedule.

Today is completely free for Majuli. Today I will go to the World femous Face Masks Making place, all satra & explore the village. You can book a car for this one day trip or u can use scooty or u can do bicycle tour also. Villagers are very much easygoing & helpful too. So without any hesitation you can fulfill your dream.
