NH7 Weekender is back and this year the journey of the happiest music festival starts from the abode of clouds, Shillong.
The festival is returning to India's rock capital, Shillong, after a successful 2015 season and for those of you who missed the live action last year, check out the video for a recap.
NH7 Weekender Shillong dates: October 21 to 22
We all know the best thing about the Weekender. The best artists from around the world, along with local musicians come together to make our weekend just perfect. The venue is yet to be announced but the incredible line should have pushed you to book your tickets right away.
But you should never come back without getting a full of sense the place you travel to. And that's why I've made a plan for those of you who will not leave before seeing a little of Shillong.
How to get there?
By Air: The nearest airport to Shillong is Umroi Airport at a distance of 25km from the city. The airport however has limited connectivity and therefore, most travellers reach Shillong via Guwahati International Airport, at a distance of 125km from Shillong.
By Train: Nearest railway station is Guwahati. You can take a bus or hire a taxi to Shillong from there.
By Road: It takes almost three hours to reach Shillong from Guwahati by bus or a shared taxi.
