Day 1

It is Saturday evening 5:30 pm, I am busy with my work, it’s almost finishing stage, sitting in a separate room. My kids are playing in the hall, suddenly they got started crying and fighting with each other, in between my 2 years old kid fell down. With a very angry mood, I came out from the room given a hard slap to my two kids and i get back to work.

As usual they start crying, after some time to divert from that mood, I called them in to my room, shall we go anywhere outside. They calm down and they said...Hurrah - we are ready. I opened the browser start searching short distance trips, but nothing found any great destinations most of them visited places. So, my search extended to long destinations. In that results i feel “GOA” is best one at this moment. The same, i shared with my kids they said... Heyyy..., we are ready and even with my wife she is OK, but why should waste money, think any short destination. I tried to convince to that brother son had not visited beaches yet, so this is the best time and best place.

This is OK, but how can we reach GOA, another question. We have now two options, either by bus or buy self drive in my own car. By car? Last time when GOA went from Hyderabad, we are very irritated with road conditions. So, next option by Bus. I am not wasted my time start search online - on redbus portal. Two, three options i found, most of them are starting within 30mins and to catch the bus need to drive around 3 – 4Km in the evening heavy traffic. At last i found one bus SRS travels at 6:30pm, pickup point also very near, only 5mins walk (if walk very lazily also) to my home and immediately booked tickets. Informed to everyone in the home, we have only 45mins time left. Kids are ready with their bags within 15mins and we also packed bags and ready, within the time we reached the bus point. The entire plan happened within an hour only.

Day 2

Now, our journey started from Hyderabad to Goa. Kids are very happy and enjoying their trip by watching movie in the bus and having snacks, which i bought in the super market nearby bus point at the time of waiting for other passengers. The bus reached around 10:30AM -Sunday on the route from Hyderabad – Mahbubnagar, Raichur, Hubballi, Karwar and Panjim. At dropping point(EDC patto ground), local taxi guy promised to show accommodation in 2-3 locations, but those locations we are not liked, so i ask him provide rented car for 2 days. He took in the same taxi to location where car rented. Given advance of 2days car rent to the owner and picked up car and started to Baga beach.

It was our sudden plan, so we are not booked any room. In the beach side at Baga, had a small food to full fill our stomach and time passed an hour by watching sea shores with a small bottle of bear. Then we started to search for rooms nearby baga beach. Not much wasted time, we found a small resort (Alfran Beach Resort) with swimming pool and food court and safe parking facility. We entered the room with baggage, the room was not bad one hall and one bed room with good balcony view in the ground floor itself. We refreshed and relaxed for some time in the room. In the evening again reached Baga beach, enjoyed some time in the beach. My Kids also enjoyed watching sea shores and crowded people by watching only because one of my kid is visited first time. Walk through the shops in the beach road by having food at road side and reached back to resort.

On Monday , in the morning hours we wake up and went for swimming pool enjoyed an hour and get back room fresh up & dressed up and left the room. Had a good breakfast at the restaurant which is just adjacent to swimming pool. Alfran Beach Resort provided a free breakfast for 2 people in general, but they provided for free breakfast for my kids too. Very good breakfast includes – Poori, Stuffed roti, egg items, bread & butter, toast and tea & coffee.

We targeted to see some beaches and forts on Monday. Started to Chapora Fort in the car, weather is very pleasant with light rain fall, not much crowed on the roads because it’s Monday. After driving 8.5km from Baga beach we reached Chapora Fort and parked our car. Still in the location with light rain fall, we bought two umbrellas and two rain coats for kids bargain all for Rs.500. It is very hill road, even road also not good because of rainy season. So i knot my small kid with my wife duppata at my backside and started walking towards Fort. Very beautiful location, you can see complete view of sea from the top and nearby beaches. We spend some time with photo session at fort and kids played some time. After that we started Vagator beach, it is the very near beach form Chapora Fort.

Vagator beach is one of the most scenic beaches in Goa that is situated immediately north of the Anjuna beach overlooked by steep laterite hills. On the way beach you can find many street sellers with stone armaments, bags and with other stuff. We played with kids sometime in the beach. First time in this trip, my small kid also started playing in the beach. He played some time in the water, then go back to beach started running as his wish. My other two keep on played with sea shores.

After spending more than an hour in the beach we started to Anjuna beach. It’s distance around 8.5km from Vagator. Its credible palms and rocky crescent give great pleasure to be at Anjuna Beach. It's distinguished due to the formation of unusual rock placed on a small inlet of white sand and black rock protruding into the sea. Spend some time walking along the beach by hearing seashores. Really it’s very good place for beach side parties and Adventure sports. May we enjoy some more activities if we visit this place in the year end.

Our day is not ended at Anjuna. We return back from there to resort and relaxed some time. On the way we had finished our lunch & had some shopping for kids. We went to swimming pool and spend some time in pool with kids. My elder two kids playing on the pool with the safety swim ring and the little younger one played with me. Our bodies almost tired with travelling and swimming. So, we went back to room relaxed.

Day 4

In the next morning, after completed the breakfast in Alfran Beach Resort, we vacated the room started to visit the Fort Aguada. The fort was constructed in 1612 to guard against the Dutch and the Marathas. It was a reference point for the vessels coming from Europe at that time. This old Portuguese fort stands on the beach south of Candolim, at the shore of the Mandovi River. It is named for the fresh water spring that gives the fort a constant supply of potable water, ‘agua’ being the Portuguese word for water and ‘Aguada’ signifying a place where water is collected. So well built and fiercely armed was this fort that it has never fallen into enemy hands.

While entering into the fort rain started, so we covered with umbrella and hides somewhere. It’s very beautiful scene watching fort & sea while raining and take some photo snaps.

Once stops the rain walked whole fort and enjoyed. Mostly this is our last place visited in Goa and started back to bus station. We called the Taxi guy returned the car to him. In searching bus terminal and road route he helped very much. In the return journey also we booked same bus, so no confusion with bus condition, even the bus drivers also recognised us. We reached next day 8:30 am to Hyderabad. But while returning from Goa on the bus, it’s very horrible. Everyone was full drunk, almost disturbed overnight while chit chatting with friends and fighting with the drivers.
