You can see the whole chittor city view from fort also. The villages of chittor is also beautiful. If you have more time to explore then you can go that in 2nd day . There is a library and a beautiful water resorvoir too in fort.

The fort radius is almost 3 kms and you should choose winter season to visit . Many small big jain temples are surrounded in whole fort. Also 60+ monuments including 15+ temples.
When Raja Ratan Singh defeated from Muslim ruler Alauddin Khilji, who captured chittor in 14th Century. 12000+ womens of chittor including Padmavati (known as padmini) decided to do suicide. The reflection of chittorgarh story also there in comic book Amar Chitra Katha, one of my favorite in childhood days.

Kumbhaswami Temple- If you are young and believe in exploring new places i will suggest choose walk as medium. you will explore more places in this fort.
Vijay Stambh & Kirti Stambh- These two are most scenic. If you are 80s or 90s kid you could seen the picture of vijay stambh in post office stamp. i still remembered cuz i had few collection of it. The long tower type place is so attractive and allowed to go inside of it.
