Here is the tour guide for best of the Paris in 72 hrs. It was a random plan to visit Paris. A place which holds the architectural importance and architectural icons of the world. The ultra modern boutiques and mouthwatering food tempts everyone coming here.

How to reach: Charles de Gaulle Airport (The main airport of Paris ) is well connected from major metropolitan of India( Delhi -Mumbai) and has direct and hope-over flights to this place. If tickets are booked three months in advance it will cost the traveler around 55,000/- for a round trip.

Where to Stay AirBnB is the best suited option for bag-packers like me. Prefer an accommodation near Metro connectivity to avoid delay and stay connected to the places to visit. Its easy to move in Paris with the wide area network connectivity through the interconnecting trains.

What to see :

Day-1

1. Museums, parks, churches and other must-see sights that the city of lights has to offer....the list is to long but Paris means first and far most The Eiffel Tower .It is the most wanted place by everyone visiting there , so certainly this should be your first target. The first half of the day one must be utilized for visiting this huge lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. The closest Paris Metro station to the Eiffel Tower is Champ de Mars / Tour Eiffel on line RER C. Other Metro stations close to the Eiffel Tower include Ecole Militaire on Line 8, and Bir-Hakeim on Line 6 etc. If possible pay a visit both day and night and till the top . (Day because it offers you a great view to understand the overall structure and night to admire the real beauty of this one of those seven wonders with so many blinking lights around )

2. River Cruise : Cruise up the majestic Seine and see how Paris famous sites are revealed from a new perspective. This cruise comes for free with the Paris Pass. To add on more memories Combine a glamorous dinner in Paris with sights of the city's must-see attractions on this evening sightseeing cruise down the River Seine. (it is right opposite the Eiffel Tower)

3. Pont Alexandre III, Paris, France : The Pont Alexandre III is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine in Paris. Just after the completion of River Cruise this place can be explored walking . It connects the Champs-Élysées quarter with those of the Invalides and Eiffel Tower.

4. Arc de Triomphe : at the western end of the Champs-Élysées at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle, Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. Wanted by Napoleon in 1806, the Arc de Triomphe was inaugurated in 1836 by French king, Louis-Philippe, who dedicated it to the armies of the Revolution and the Empire. There are staircases and lift till the top of this monument . Interested people may hire a guided tour also.

1. Pantheon One of the great examples of neoclassicism architecture Pantheon in Paris was inspired by a Greek cross with a dome somewhat similar to St. Paul's in London. Tour the Pantheon with Paris Notre Dame Pantheon and Latin Quarter Private Tour for Kids and Families. It's a recommended way to see more of Paris. Note that you can get a free entrance to the Pantheon using the Paris Pass Including Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour.

2. Notre Dame Situated at a distance of almost one Km from Pantheon Notre Dame is a Cathedral which is visible from Pantheon. It is one of the iconic and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture on which construction began in the 12th century, stands on the Île de la Cité and is the symbolic heart of the city. one of the prominent landmarks of Paris.

3. Holy Chapel Another eye catching buildings in Paris the Sainte-Chapelle is a royal chapel in its Gothic style attracts everyone to pay attention.Built in seven years, an impressive feat, the Sainte Chapelle was intended to house precious Christian relics, including Christ's crown of thorns, acquired by Saint Louis and also for creating religious and political influence.

4. Louvre Museum Almost 1.5 Km away from the holy chapel Louvre Museum is in fact the largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris in the world and the home for one of the finest art collections. The Louvre Palace is a former royal palace located on the Right Bank of the Seine in Paris.

The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace, originally built as a fortress in the late 12th to 13th century under Philip II.Remnants of the fortress are visible in the basement of the museum. The idea of using the Louvre as a public museum originated in the 18th century. The comte d’Angiviller helped build and plan the Grande Galerie and continued to acquire major works of art. In 1793 the revolutionary government opened to the public. The Louvre building complex underwent a major remodeling in the 1980s and ’90s in order to make the old museum more accessible and accommodating to its visitors.

Everyone will notice at the ground-level entrance to this complex was situated in the centre of the Cour Napoleon and was crowned by a controversial steel-and-glass pyramid designed by the American architect I.M. Pei. The new wing, also designed by Pei, had more than 230,000 square feet of exhibition space, originally housing collections of European painting, decorative arts, and Islamic art.

And later in the year 2012 Japanese architects was intended to boost the economy of the region and to alleviate crowds at the Paris site. The Louvre’s painting collection is one of the richest in the world, representing all periods of European art up to the Revolutions of 1848.

Its a home to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the Louvre is considered the world's greatest art museum, with an immense collection of items covering the full spectrum of art through the ages.The Louvre contains more than 380,000 objects and displays 35,000 works of art in eight curatorial departments. It has Egyptian /Eastern antiquities, The Greek, Etruscan, and Roman department displays pieces from the Mediterranean Basin dating from the Neolithic to the 6th century. Islamic art and sculpture , mesmerizing art pieces from middle ages to the mid-19th century is a kind of work that display the artist heart.

Mona Lisa, oil painting on a poplar wood panel by the Italian painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect, and engineer Leonardo da Vinci is an eye piece for everyone in Louvre .

Dedicate your third day for Catacombs and Champs Elysees

Catacombs :Twenty meters underground of Paris , A genuine labyrinth in the heart of underground Paris, the Catacombs were fitted out in the galleries of former quarries.The Catacombs date back to the end of the 18th century, around 1788. They were built in the old Tombe-Issoire limestone quarries to move bones from Paris cemeteries that had fallen into ruin. The very first cemetery was Les Innocents, near the Les Halles neighborhood. The last cemetery was cleared in 1814. Stones from the quarries were used to build Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre, and to fortify the city of Paris. Before entering the winding tunnels, visitors are greeted by a quote:Stop, here lies the Empire of Death".

Champs Elysee : Spread at a distance of almost 2 Km it is an avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Shopping Food and Fashion is the heartbeat of this place. Cinemas, theaters, cafes and luxury shops are the main attractions of this place. On the opposite end, near the Place de la Concorde, the street is bordered by the Jardins des Champs-Elysee, beautifully arranged gardens with fountains and some grand buildings including the Grand and Petit Palais at the southern side and the Elysee at its northern side. It is the place for all the major celebrations.

Day 4 : Time To head back Home :p

Paris is a tourist place throughout the year and one of the most happening too. Places like Disney land will definitely attract Kids. Tourist will have to make their choices accordingly . Following are the recommendations Do's and Dont's od Paris:

1. Please don't ever leave your belongings.

2. Follow the correct line for your destination (PARIS has a huge web of trains so follow the route carefully)

3. Carry a map along . Its available at most of the stations and places of public transport.

4. Buy a Paris Pass if You can according to the no of days of your stay

5. Explore the local food around its economic, filling and delicious.

6. Centre commercial italie Deux is the most suited place for shopping under a roof well equipped with most of the big brands food joints and closely connected by all routes of metro.

7th and the most Important ......................................... have a safe and happy journey. :)
