Day 2

On our second day, we started with the famous “Black Taxi” tour of the Falls and Shankill areas seeing murals of troubled times and also the peace wall. The driver and the guide was amazing and you learn the history about the Northern Ireland, the war between Catholic and Protestants. This is highly recommended and a great insight into the happenings of a period in Irish history referred to as “The Troubles”.

P.S. it's an optional part of the trip and you need to pay 12 pounds extra for this.

The Dark Hedges is an avenue of beech trees along Bregagh Road between Armoy and Stranocum in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The trees form an atmospheric tunnel that has been used as a location in HBO's popular television series Game of Thrones, which has resulted in the avenue becoming a tourist attraction
