This spectacular buddhist ex- kingdom is a part of Indian states of Jammu and Kashmir.

Picture perfect monastaries sit against the backdrop of huge himalayan mountain ranges, making Leh Ladkahs landscape one of a kind to experience. The entire region is spanned by colorful and fluttering prayer flags that adds to the charm of the land.

Situated at the height of 9800 ft above sea level, the mountains in Ladakh were formed about 45 million years ago. Indus river being the back bone of Ladakh, this land is blessed with plenty of flaura and fauna merging into breath taking panoramas of landscapes.

A must visit by enthusiasts and pro photographers, Leh Ladakh can offer an unusual learning and exploring experience to the ones inclined towards photography. Clearly visible milky ways in the night can serve for a dazzling night photography composition. An impressive sky light falling over the ice packed himalayan mountains gives way for landscapes to keep forever. It is highly recommended to experience this magical land called Leh Ladakh.
