I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality. Painting is my passion. Pingla, the village of natural color patachitra painters village is famous by own creation which is under the both Midnapur district of West Bengal, India. Approx 100 families use to paint patachitras to earn money. The story of patachitra painting basically based on the Hindu mythology like Purana, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Hindu God, Goddess, different epic stories and now they create stories on the present scenario which happed in our daily life. Earlier days, they used to earn money by visiting door to door. But now they are getting popular in India and abroad also.

Pingla, a one day trip from Kolkata. The earing process of this village is based on selling patachitra along with the song. Visitors always visit this village to sing their song and buy patachitra. The artisans, they are making small patachitra for the purpose of home decor. Art lovers, painters, folk lovers usually visit every time to explore their new collections.
