Shimla : This place is often known as the queen of hills and has been a popular hill station for people. It can be easily reached by road, train or airplane. You can explore famous places like Jakhu Temple, Annadale, The Mall road, the Ridge, Christ Church, Kufri, Shimla Museum, Viceroy Lodge, etc. amongst other local sight-seeing.

Don’t miss to experience the Kalka Shimla toy train which will give you a spectacular view of the hills.

Dalhousie: Dalhousie is located in the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. This tourist destination is not so much crowded as compared to other hill stations. It is a small place with every place spread over few kms.

You can visit nearby attractions like Panchpula, Satdhara Falls, Kalatop wildlife Sanctuary, Daikund Peak, Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland of India).

Darjeeling: It is yet another amazing tourist spot in India. Beat the heat travelling to this beautiful hill station covered all around with Kanchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain.

The breath-taking views of the tea estates are a must. Don’t forget to much “Alu Mimi” which is the favourite all day snack for the locals of Darjeeling.

Must see: Kanchenjunga mountains, Himalayan Zoological Park, Japanese Peace Pagoda, Tiger Hill, etc.

Lansdowne: It is a small hill town in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttrakhand. If you are a nature lover, this is the place to be.

You can spend your days walking down the streets and experiencing local cultures and cuisines. Main attractions in this place are Bhulla Tal, Tarkeshwar Mahakal Temple, St. Mary’s Church, the Jungle Safari. Best season to visit this place is between March to October.

Kausani: It is a very pretty place to explore in Uttranchal. It offers some of the mesmerizing views of the Himalayan peaks like Trishul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli.

You can have the most amazing views of the densely forested pines and tea gardens.

Rudradhari falls & caves, Baijnath temple and anasakti ashram can also be visited during your stay there.

All these hills stations are so beautiful and serene; they will make you lost in their beauty amidst all the other works in your life. So, leave everything behind and explore their awe-inspiring beauty.
