Puducherry- "The Combination of French and Tamil culture"

Puducherry is 130 km from Chennai. The nearest station and airport is Chennai only as there limited flights for Puducherry. It is best to take the road from Chennai to Puducherry as the way itself is beautiful, the road is ECR (East coast road) so one can experience sea and backwaters at the same time

The best place to stay in Puducherry is in WHITE TOWN as it is purely a French colony, the buildings and architecture here are so beautiful.

One can experience Tamil as well as french culture in Puducherry.

We started our trip from Nagpur, the distance between Nagpur and Puducherry is of 18 hours.

In morning we reached Chennai and the city welcomed us with showers, it was soothing weather.

Day 2

Auroville:- It is Aurobindo ashram's township, you can feel the mix of culture here. Matrimandir is its famous attraction but we experienced it from a distance as it is closed on Tuesday. Auroville is a calm place, unique in its style. It is on the city's outskirts so you need a full day to visit there.
