Visit of munsyari, uttarakhand .
We ( me, my wife and my son ) started our journey from delhi at 3 PM and reached Bhimtal at 8.30 PM. We spent our night in Lavanya hotel, Bhimtal which is best one hotel in Bhimtal. The food quality was delicious and mouth watering.
Next day after taking breakfast we left for munsyari at 10.30 am. After crossing hill and lots of temples we reached Chaukori at 7PM in the evening. We spend night in a resort which name I don't remember, but it was a good resort to stay.
We left for munsyari at 12 pm. People advised us to skip the journey and return back due to weather condition but we wanted to travel. The fuel was not enough in our skoda rapid car. The fuel watch was showing only two line sign. But due to heavy rush on petrol pump we took risk to travel 55 KM. After reaching 15 km the heavy rain started and road conditions was very bad. My family was very scared but I continue driving. There was not a single vehicle on road and car was running on 20 km/hour speed due to road condition. There was lots of mud, stones, sand and broken roads on the way. After travelling almost 30 km we saw that fuel light is blinking very fast. We decided to come back. When we were trying to take u turn suddenly we saw that one car was coming from munsyari and 4 boys were sitting in the belano car. They told me to not to go back. Atleast reached munsyari because road is very good ahead. We thought that we should go ahead. We again started our journey toward munsiyari. After taking lots of risk and remember God we reached munsyari at 4 PM. It was raining very fast and water was flowing on the road. First we reached petrol pump and full our tank. Then we saw that there was nothing to see in munsyari. A little town where not a good hotel neither a good market. We decided to come back delhi. But when we came back on the same road, we saw a good hotel which was looking better than others. The rain was very much fast and we decided to stay one night in the hotel. We hired a family room on the top floor and stay overnight. We had our dinner and enjoyed the weather. We have decided that early morning we will be back.
Whole night, there was a heavy rain. We woke up 6 in the morning and order for bed tea. The hotel staff told me to see out side. I went in the balcony and saw outside. There was water everywhere and nothing to see anything else. Hotel staff told us, " बाबूजी बादल फट गया है, रास्ते बन्द हो गये हैं, कम से कम दस दिन लगेंगे रास्ता खुलने में । आप वापस नहीं जा सकते "।
We were really very much scared. Road were blocked from both side. There was not any other way to leave. Incidentally 4 friends from paschim vihar, delhi were also staying in the same hotel. We had to spend 7 days in the same hotel by eating dal, roti and jeera aaloo only. It was very bad experience in our life and really there was nothing to do in munsyari except view only. But the view was awesome.
After spent seven days in the same hotel, We tried to come back. We along with our second team of paschim vihar friends return back by very much difficulties and typical road condition and decided to never visit munsiyari in future. Really it was a very good memorable trip.
