This world is clearly stocked with interesting stories.
The fellow travellers I met in Bhutan introduced me to the social project of Quest Expeditions. Their story was not about just another adventure travel company having a great time at work on an exotic location but about an honest endeavor to do their bit for the underprivileged section of the society.

A routine, repetition of work and the innumerable everydays mostly leave us underwhelmed. So what brings the light of hope into our worlds that make us rise up every morning and aim to work better and live better? It's the better life and better work of others around us, that motivates us to find a meaning in the days we live.
Quest recruited 8 boys from Don Bosco Shelter at their adventure campsites at Mandwa, Rishikesh and Kolad. Govinda , Shiva, Sujeet, Vishnu, Jeetu, Subhash, Vinayak and Rizwaan are now seen giving visitors instructions with rafting, kayaking and entertaining guests travelling with them.
In their blog, Quest shared the story of Govinda.
"Govinda is one of our oldest sons in the family. He was raised by the team at Don Bosco Shelter Home in Matunga for orphans and street kids. Today we have 8 kids from the shelter as part of the BIG family we’re so proud of." Surely their endeavour can be an inspiration for ones who constantly aim to do their bit for the society and make a difference. Quest has given a motivation to individuals seeking means and methods to help under privileged communities around them.
The quest of doing our part.
Coming from the a different section of the society, these kids often face troubles at schools and very frequently dropout from jobs they are hired in. With the help of Jehan Driver and the team of Quest, these children have been trained to find a sustainable skill for themselves.
Say Hi to team Quest.
Jehan, Felix, Gwen, Nigil and Charmaine are some of the members of this team. Their efforts to train the boys hired from Don Bosco Shelter is a success story of an organization who have made honest efforts towards a corporate social responsibility.
