This sky touching minaret, standing at the heart of Delhi, still tells it's days of glory. And it's been long, it's been years, it is still standing, making it one of the most iconic places to visit in Delhi.
This ancient monument is a fine example of architecture and design which is no where to be seen.
This 73 metre light 'victory tower's was built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1193.
Not only in India but it is a piece of wonderful architecture in the entire world. Beautifully designed with inscriptions, ornamented with four balconies, Qutub Minar is really a place to visit and to get lost in the pages of ancient history. Declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993, this is a prominent tourist attraction and people from all over the globe come to see it.
