Ranwar Village in Bandra Mumbai - An oasis inside a concrete cluster

Nostalgic architecture. 100 year old houses. Narrow lanes. Dazzling graffiti. A village within a metropolis.

Ranwar is a 400 year old heritage village in the bustling suburb of Bandra in Mumbai.

I was intrigued by this village within Mumbai and went on a leisurely walk with my non- menacing NOKIA 808 PureView and Lumia 1020 cellphone cameras.

However, one of the residents was hostile and almost snatched my cellphone while I was trying to click a dilapidated house. Apparently he was auctioning the building and mistook me for a competitor
