Ralang Monastery is a Buddhist Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism in South Sikkim. This Monastery is having unparalleled beauty and its old heritage is soul stirring experiences. Indulge your senses with a range of unique architect of Ralang Monastery and keep the worldly concerns at bay and relive your stress in the heart of nature. It is one of the best attractions of Sikkim tourism that should be visited at least once to experience the Ravangla. The peculiarly beautiful paintings and thangkas symbolize the Buddhist art and heritage.

The origin of Ralang Monastery is that when the 4 th Chogyal came back to his pilgrimage, the 9 th Karmapa threw grains of rice from Tsurphu Monastery in Tibet at the time of Rabney ceremony. So the construction of this monastery happened. The distance between Ralng and Ravangla is about 13 km and way to reaching out there is through trekking is suitable.
