We were group of 5 friends. It was a 2 day trip.
We started from Jodhpur to Ranakpur by own car. We started our journey at 12 PM from Jodhpur. It took 3 hrs to reach Ranakpur.
At Ranakpur we visited the historic Jain Temple. We spent around 3 hrs there. We took dinner at Jain bhojanalay situated inside the temple at 5 Pm. Charges are very reasonable Rs. 60 per head and food quality is very good.
Then we left for kumbhalgarh. We reached kumbhalgarh at 8 PM. The place was almost full as it was long weekend. It was very difficult to find hotel there in weekends during season. Then we found one room in one resort. They charged Rs. 4000 for one room for 5 persons. We spent night there. The weather was too good at this time. Dew was falling continuously like slow rain.
We took breakfast in hotel which was complementary. Breakfast was good.
Then we checked out from the hotel and gone for kumbhalgarh fort visit. It took us around 3 hrs to visit the entire fort. This fort has third largest wall in the world. Ticket price is Rs. 35 for Indians and Rs. 550 for foreigners. We took various photos at the fort.
Then we took lunch at a Gujarati restaurant and left for Jodhpur. We reached Jodhpur at night.
