White Rann Of Kutch
White barren land spread all around, a place if you get lost only a compass might help you. This is how you can describe this seasonal salt marsh land located in Thar Desert in the Kutch District of Gujarat. To some it might just be a plain white desert, but it is much deeper. It’s got history to cherish, nature to wonder & beauty to absorb. Looking colorful during sunsets, it’s enthralling during nights. Calm soothing serene peaceful!! No words no picture describes it until u experience it. There is a reason why they say ‘Kutch nahi dekha toh kucch nahi dekha’. Rann utsav is a wonderful cultural initiative of Gujarat Tourism which starts from November to February. Around 400 tents are set up in the empty land know as ‘Tent city’. Each tent is well furnished and is Royal, so is the food. Experiencing ‘The white Rann’ especially in full moon nights is breathtaking.
